22 Pennant Peak and the Flagpole Needles [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
22 Pennant Peak and the Flagpole Needles

Looking down into the Ingalls Creek Valley from atop Little Annapurna, the topography is a sharp contrast from the easy trail I just walked up on the N. Fred Beckey's Cascade Alpine Guide...Columbia River to Stevens Pass describes 26 little peaks and towers on the Ingalls slopes of Little Annapurna and McClellan Peak. The most extreme of several impossibly skinny towers is The Flagpole. That might be the tip of it showing just right of Pennant Peak.
