A Successful Journey!
This photo was taken at the base of the Hoh River Trail. Hiking 40+ miles in two days was too intense for the (lack of) preparations that I had made; I should have paced myself better, at the least.

I could barely stand, when this photo was taken, let alone with the pack still on my back. The pack seemed much heavier than when I began the trip, as my left knee had blown-out with only six miles remaining. Thank goodness for Ibuprofen. Also thank goodness that I was able to find a hotel room in the nearby little city of Forks, which allowed me to rest my knee comfortably for the evening.
