Professor Falls, WI 4 [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Professor Falls, WI 4
The last pitch on Professors today, the crux pitch. I did not put in any more screws than that last one in the picture....they were not biting through to anything solid. It is in run out condition, which of course it normally is. I got soaked. Best time I have ever climbed it was May. Professor Falls, III, WI 4, Banff National Park. February 22, 2007.

Thanks Martin. Ran into Kevin Craig, an sper from CO yesterday. They were behind us on the route. Small world.

""You cannot stay on the summit forever; you have to come down again. So why bother in the first place? Just this: What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up. When one can no longer see, one can at least still know.""   --Rene Daumal
