Rombon and Krn [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Rombon and Krn
From below Forcella Lavinal dell'Orso / Skrbina Sprednje spranje, you have an interesting view on Julian Alps mountains. Actually here, if you use a close-up, the ridges of three big mountain groups are seen. In front there are the rocks of Punta Plagnis and Cregnedul, belonging to Vis and Montaz group, Behind is the main Kanin crest and behind it Rombon with its steep north face, and finally Krn is peeking from behind. A true mess of rocky mountains. From a ski tour on February 4th, 2007.
