this is really a dreamlike picture. I have been there twice but not in such a mood! But the picture would deserve 3 times more pixels. The sky would be shown much better then.

	Hasn't voted	It was indeed a very fine day (only last week). I took this shot with my nikon coolpix 4500 in a series of about 10 pictures, starting before sunrise. The full resolution is much better, but too large for the website.

Question: was this on sept 4? If so then this picture can be coupled with the one I took from the opposite side (from Mt Blanc summit) looking this way!!

	Hasn't voted	Hi countryman. Yes, indeed, that was on September 4th! That is really amazing, two pictures covering half of the Alps. Your picture also captures the mountains exactly as they were on that particular day.
