Looking southeast, the summit of "Chickie" offers wonderful aerial views of Four Brothers, Three Queens, and the unbelievably gorgeous Spectacle Lake, which I visited on an earlier, 38-mile day hike. This lake, of unusually complex shape, is situated between two very impressive mountain systems, the Three Queens and the Lemah Group, and has a beauty which is almost otherworldly--a must see!
