Sorry Don, I started to reply a long time ago, but never got it done and then forgot. That's the Warner Valley, and from looking at maps I believe that's a huge sink, not a drainage. What's left of one large lake are now a bunch of smaller ones called Warner Lakes. Interesting area! -Bob

No problem, this is supposed to be fun, not one more pain in the fundament.
I was actually wondering about the canyon in the middle distance. It occurs to me I could look at a map.

Thanks Caleb - big cliffs indeed! Have you climbed Pueblo Mountain? That's a P2K that Dean and I still need in Oregon, and we're hoping to get down there next spring for that big guy. -Bob

Not yet, its 3rd on my list after warner and beatys. Gonna try and hit all 3 over the course of the winter. Best time of the year to be hiking in the desert.

You know, you're so right that winter would be a great time to do Pueblo. Maybe Dean and I could meet there sometime during a stable weather pattern this winter.
