Bison sitting in camp [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Bison sitting in camp
This bison, along with 2 others, decided to visit us while I was making breakfast. He actually came up behind me very quietly, and I didn't know he was there until he snorted angrily. I turned around and he was about 15 yards away and staring at me. After I slowly edged on the other side of the camp fire, he sat down about 10 feet away from where I had been squatting. "No denying fancy now it's sway. Are not the peaks grown taller, of nobler stature even than before? Motionless, yet they are alive, these spectral figures, this night met in voiceless conclave, for their deliberations man may neither share nor comprehend."   --Fritiof Fryxell
