Bill Crouse on Anchorage Ledge [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Bill Crouse on Anchorage Ledge
Bill Crouse on Anchorage Ledge during a winter ascent of The Prow, Christmas 1983. It's called "Anchorage Ledge" because you can't sleep here unless you're anchored in well. Seriously, the ledge slopes so steeply that you really should bring a port-a-ledge. (Yosemite, California, USA)

Nice pic from '83. Love that ledge -- such a great view of Half Dome and enough room to walk around. Thanks for posting.
