Thats pretty heavy discharge for Palouse Falls. The only time I have seen it bigger was in Feb. 1996 when the Palouse River was having a 250 year flood event.

I visited the falls about 20 years ago with my friend, who was living in Walla Walla at the time. I've always remembered the falls, but not their name. An amazing place.

	Hasn't voted	The river takes a 90 degree turn and drops over, creating that effect. There was a young Montana kid who went over in a kayak. See here for LINK that has pics.
