Yes, actually it doesn't seem to be too difficult - except for the topmost part. But who would want to go all the way only to tun back right underneath the summit?

It was a beautiful day - only I got stuck in the snow on Käseralpe - wrong (i.e. no) equipment. So sad :-(

Sad you had to turn back. What was your objective? Anyway, the Rädlergrat is supposed to be very demanding, at least in summer (UIAA VI). Here is a picture I took in summer. Don´t know if it is easier in winter...

The objective was Älpelesattel - I wanted to have faraway views - instead I almost drowned in the snow on Käseralpe.

No doubt the ridge is very demanding. From the side I took the photo it just looked manageable. I couldn't do it I'm sure but if you look from Oytal you see a slope of less than 45° for most of the way. There is a step halfway up and another one two thirds up. I'm pretty sure these are the sections which make the climb UIAA VI.

It's a wonderful area - very green in summer because the summits are not that high. The mountains are made up from limestone and dolomite and many of them have very characteristic forms. The area is very popular and not inexpensive.
