They are not natural body parts? Interesting insect! Do you find many moths in Caves?

moths, -same as bats- are not specifically "cave fauna". Both of them settle the rooms nearby the entrances, where they can find all they need: shelter, food and a cozy place where to breed. they don't really need to push too far in caves, so.
Those needles you see are not totally body parts (except legs and antennae). this moth has probably died within the cave and then water, enriched with calcite, dripping on his body created such little "stalagmites" .
weird but not "unique". I had the chance to see "cristallized" moths several times. this one you see had longer needles and looked like a little alien, though.
(am i clear? i wish i speak english more fluently but you know...it's not my language)
:-)
have a great day.

Cozy indeed! Can you estimate how long ago the moth died? It's body looks in very good condition to have been there for too long or is it just completly coated? Your prowess with the english language is remarkable. You have a great day too!
