It looks so odd -- usually you'd expect to see waterfalls in the forest or mountains, not on a beach! How do you get there? Also, looking at the topo it appears there's quite a drop to the ocean from the outlet of Pelican Lake; are there falls there, too?

Regarding how to get there, I am going to post a page on Double Point in the next few days, so your questions should be answered there. I have always wondered about that falls from Pelican Lake. The beach is inaccessible and the only real vantage is from the top of Double Point, although you can't see much. I think it would only really flow after a good rain.
