Sergio tops out the short...
Sergio tops out the short crack of our "7th" and last pitch. I am belaying him from the summit blocks. Chris, the lead climber for the other twosome is at right. The whole of the route takes pro rather willingly. You never feel like you're "in a tough spot," as the escapees said in Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? Photo taken Sept. 6, 2003.

That was a fun pitch, though short. We found a chockstone lodged in the crack which had been pre-slung :)

I remember that "chockstone" rock. I remember thinking it kind of cheesy as if to say it had been purposely wedged in there by a gumby.

I guess the rock stayed wedged in there for three years ... must not be so cheesy after all :)
