Our group stops to contempate the Angel of Shavano early in the morning on 4/7/2007. Great snow conditions for our ascent, good cramponing. The sun then softened it up just enough to get a great ski descent on the way back down. Continuous snow from the top of the head to about 10,500' in the trees before it got to patchy and we walked down.
