Adam's peak (2243m) is the highest mountain you can 'climb' in Sri Lanka. There is a temple on the top that pillgrims ascend to for dawn. From the top you can see the East and West coasts. The shadow in the picture is Mt. Adam's dawn shadow while looking West. The shadow races towards you as the sun climbs the sky. April 2004.
