Thanks Herb! It is a very prominent mountain. The face drops down for 2,500 feet.

Thank you! Zion is known for big walls that look like sandstone cathedrals. Many of these towers and walls have religious names.

gave it another vote. Zion is so incredible!
When the wife & I went there last September,
I was driving with my mouth open, and my
wife was next to me singing, "How Great
Thou Art!" Take care, Melinda.(beautiful!!!)

Thanks Bo! I’ve read about the West Temple and looked at all of the photos. It’s something that I am interested in climbing someday but it looks very intimidating from a distance.

It's a very fun hike/climb! It took me many years of contemplating, before I just "did it". It wasn't that it was intimidating, just that I'd heard it was a very long day! It ended up being not as long as I had heard and also the one "pitch" of climbing was far eaiser and less intimidating than I had heard as well.

Thank you very much! I was hiking to the Watchman on the other side of the valley when I took this photo. The West Temple is an awesome peak.
