My brother Mike began to ascend the old aid line on the exposed West face. I made hangers out of aluminum angle stock and drilled holes in them to accept carrabiners. After getting a good way up, Mike noticed that the next two bolts were rusted nearly all the way through. After spending some time trying to figure out a way to the next good bolt he bailed. I was there last Summer (2006) and the hangers are still there. We were crazy back in those days.
