Three of Longs Peaks Routes can be seen in this photo.
The RED line is the class 3 Loft Route.
The BLUE line is a class 4 variation of the route.
The YELLOW line is Keplingers Couloir.
The PURPLE line is the "Narrows" section of the Keyhole Route.

It would be fun to scramble up Keplinger's couloir, the route of the first recorded ascent in August, 1868. This expedition was led by one-armed Civil War veteran Major John W. Powell. Voted 10/10 | I did the Loft route last year. At the time, I thought a particular stretch was a lot harder than class 3. Now I see that I must have been on that 4th class variation. I know that I did not drop down under that wall.
