This ramp and small face provide an alternate way up the route should conditions or lack of needed equipment preclude a climb directly from the base. This rock is very smooth and slippery. Ascend either to the right or to the left, both of which offer Class 3/4 conditions (but remember to respect the slippery conditions). The ascent leads to a small ledge just beneath the upper half of the climb.
