Paintbrush on Mono Craters
A field of Indian Paintbrush on the dry slopes of the Mono Craters. Across the sagebrush valley is the crest of the Sierra, which is the eastern boundary of Yosemite Nat. Park: from left to right, the ridge including (Mt. Wood, Parker Peak (12,862) and Kuna Peak), Mt. Lewis (12,296), Mono Pass (10,604), Mt. Gibbs (12,764), and Mt. Dana (13,053).
