Is this where the ski lift or 'cable car'
takes people up the mountain? I assume
that for some people, this would be the
best way to go! It would be enjoyable
to look down on the remarkable scenery!

Hasn't voted | Thank you! No, these towers are only of a 'local' ski lift that goes up to the Grödner Joch (pass). There are no lifts up to the Sella plateau from the north, but there is a cable car from the south to the top of the Sass Pordoi, from which you can hike all over the Sella plateau without loosing too much height, and also climb the Piz Boè, the easiest 10.000 ft. peak in the Dolomites. | | Posted Feb 26, 2008 6:11 am |
