Looking up the crux pitch on the NW Face Route. This couloir will deposit you on the ridge not 25 feet from the summit. The pitch is a good solid 50 degrees and is loose class 4 scree without snow. Ice axe, crampons and helmet mandatory! We downclimbed this facing in due to the pitch. May 26, 2007
