The climbers trail is not real easy to find, unless you know where it is and we did not. However, the guide book, Selected Climbs, tells you to stay just left (north) of Burgundy Creek. Anywhere will do, but we did find the trail on the way down, of course, and it does help to get to the basin more directly then we did.
