Voted 10/10 | We did this hike from Davis Basin on Tuesday and found cattle everywhere except the last mile. Definitely cattle country. All that was missing were the cowboys. Still, the summit ridge was neat and the views expansive. | | Posted Aug 10, 2007 12:22 am |

Hasn't voted | My favorite part about Oxford Peak is the great views. The cattle are only there seasonally during the summer months. I climbed the mountain in late spring and didn't see any cows.
I had a similiar experience when I climbed Cache and Independence in the Albion Range. A herd of cows tried to run us over so we had to hurry as fast as possible down the trail. | | Posted Aug 10, 2007 12:27 pm |
