What the River Did [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
What the River Did
These smooth slabs got this way from many millennia of being beneath the rushing waters of the Potomac River below Great Falls. These slabs, exposed during a long dry spell, are between the Rocky Islands and the Bulges.

hgrapidNice shot...but

Voted 10/10

Maybe this should be on the main Great Falls area/range page? Rocky Islands is very specific, so I don't want to add anything that isn't in the Rocky Islands since we already have so many pages for this area. Any chance you could move it to the area/range?

Excellent shot though.

Fair enough-- it's detached. It's already on the Great Falls page.

And you're fast! I attached the two pictures maybe half an hour ago!
