Downstream Climbs [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Downstream Climbs
This is a pretty crummy picture, I know, but it serves a useful purpose. You will be atop the Trojan Wall when this scene is directly across the river from you. Hike a little more downstream and start looking for a feasible way down to the climbing area.

Incidentally, the cliff pictured holds some named routes, and they are a few yards downstream from the Degree 101 crag. The black route is 45-Degree Downclimb (5.0). Red is 5.7 Old 98. Blue is 5.4-5.7 Moss Wall, and yellow is 5.2 Donovan.

Great Falls area, MD/VA-- May 2007

"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."   --Ernest Hemingway
