From the Thornton Lakes Trail overlook at 4,900 ft, a view looking northwestward. The middle lake is visible at bottom. The ravine/gully with steep heather on the right (a climber's path goes up this heather) leads up to the 5,840+ ft saddle where good camping can be found. Mt. Triumph can be seen beyond the saddle.
