The morning sun illuminates... [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
The morning sun illuminates...
The morning sun illuminates the class 3/4 red slabs on the final approach to the Northeast Ridge notch. The shaded gully is not the way to go. Instead, climb up and right then go to the notch just above the gray rock band leading that way. The small gendarme at the notch can be seen at center. The location of the small ridge bivy is at the top of the rise up and left of this gendarme. Photo taken Sept. 27, 2003.
