The view up toward the summit...
The view up toward the summit from just before the Northeast Ridge notch (the small gendarme at the notch is visible at far right). The rise at top right is where the ridge bivy is located. The second steep rise is to the left of this. And to the left of this (in what looks like a saddle at top-center) is the knife-edge traverse part. You can see the exposure there. The South Ridge descends at left. Photo taken Sept. 27, 2003.
