Voted 10/10 | absolutely phenomenal hiking area, one can feel as in the very heart of Carpathian range...I dodn't have too much luck this time with weather, maybe next time...stop surely next time !

Voted 10/10 | Hi Peter! yeaH I am on my 3week holiday and visited among others Carpathians and Rodnei range planning to hike the whole ridge from east to the west, unfortunately after 3 bivouacs in the mountains(Rotunda and Lala Mica lake) I was forced to give up due to heavy rainfalls and go back home. Carpathian rivers went crazy, flood... Staying charmed by the area I just know I have to come back to Romania as soon as it's possible, maybe even we could manage that together someday.

Hasn't voted | Yes I have heard about the floods, 5 people got killed in Maramures... I'll inform you about my Rodnei plans when they are due!
