Rescue operation
Rescue operation in Elbrus area. Helicopter.

5 May 2007 was another rescue operation on Elbrus East slopes. Russian team (5 people) was after "cold night" and one man has broken leg.

How small that helicopter is compared to the mountains. Nice photo. I hope the person being rescued was not in your party!

yet smallness is amazing. I work SAR in Zion and the scope is miniscule compared to this!
