Flattop Route after Eastern Chute, Ingolfsfjall [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Flattop Route after Eastern Chute, Ingolfsfjall
After ascending the chute, Ingolfsfjall opens to a large flat top, with a simple hike over to the summit. This is what the route across the tundra looks like. You ascend three or four of these small hills, like the one in this shot. June 2007.

"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."   --Ernest Hemingway
