Sneak Route, 4B R IV [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Sneak Route, 4B R IV
The next few miles involve quite a bit of bushwhacking. Continue down canyon until you come to a short steep section that can be bypassed on the left. Continue in the same direction with a steep wall on your left down this subsidiary canyon that eventually leads to a steep drop off in the canyon floor. Bypass this obstacle to the right on slick rock and continue towards a massive sheer wall which rises over the northern flank of Imlay.

""You cannot stay on the summit forever; you have to come down again. So why bother in the first place? Just this: What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up. When one can no longer see, one can at least still know.""   --Rene Daumal
