An overview of Beaver Falls. The travertine terraces are created as a result of the precipitation of calcium carbonate in Havasu Creek, creating the lovely blue pools.

Voted 10/10 | As I said, I've never hiked all the way to Beaver Falls, but when I was in Havasu Canyon, the walls struck as pretty red (or orangy) depending on the time of day and lighting conditions . . .
