Trinity Alps [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Trinity Alps
The granite core of the Trinity Alps seen from above Diamond Lake. Sawtooth Peak is the high point in the center while Thompson Peak (the Trinity Alps' tallest peak) is the point to the right and Wedding Cake is the point to the left. The peak to the far left is Mt. Hilton and the peak to the right is Caesar Peak. All the peaks except Caesar Peak can be seen from Canyon Creek. The drainage below belongs to the Stuart Fork of the Trinity River, which empties Emerald and Sapphire Lakes. Diamond Lake is the western most lake in the Four Lakes Loop around Siligo Peak.
