Voted 10/10

is this thing bolted - can't make them out?

This is a 5.7 rx route. There are2 bolts (I think??)...but not until you are firmly commited (at least 40 ft up the route). There is at least one trad placement below the bolts, but the crack is shallow and personally, I would be leary of taking a fall on it.

Alan EllisWe don't need no stinking bolts!

Sorry Jackie, the route has no bolts except for the top anchors at 165 ft. This photo is a little deceiving. My brother is not leading it, but following me with a rope trailing him. You can barely see the rope above him. And....he's a little off route to the right. If he was on route, he would be at the little crack on the left side of the photo.

The first 40 ft of this route is 5.7 RX, and then hits a horizontal crack which will almost take a micro-cam. :-). After that, it's another 30 ft until a hornet-nested vertical crack which runs to within 40 ft or so to the anchors. Fun slab climbing.
