Last Pitch Bastille Crack [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Last Pitch Bastille Crack
Me placing some pro on the last little pitch of the Bastille Crack. It is good to make this a pitch, even though you could link it with the previous one, to avoid rope drag. Good placements lead to a big chimeny that has features for smaller gear, but is climbed like a chimney. Awesome route! June 29th, 2007.

"A hundred and forty million years ago a creature struggled to escape the hostile horizontal world. It became lean and strong and developed into a magnificent climber. Then, driven by sucess and the gear of evolution, it developed the feather. For the father of the modern bird, downclimbing had become a thing of the past."   --Arc'teryx Creedo
