Red Trinity Alps
The view of the Red Trinities from the slopes of Red Mountain. Siligo Peak is on the far left, next to Peak 8,100. Gibson Peak is the highpoint of the long granite ridge. The twin "Echo Peaks" are visible to the right. Middle Peak is just out of the picture above Stonewall Pass, on the extreme right. Van Matre Meadows can be seen stretching from center to the lower left.

It is in the eastern portion of the Trinity Alps. The Trinities are found in the far northwestern corner of California. They are an excellent play ground. Check out the Trinity Alps page to see several more pics of the area.

That is a beautiful area. A few of us have free hiked all over that area in the Alps. This year I will bring the photo taker (camera). BTW, thanks for the help. Commentary soon to come.
