At one time there was a lookout on Big Slide. While I could not find any remnants of any foundation or steel cables, the normal stuff you see from an old lookout site, I found this triangle of wood wrapped in a yellow plasticky-canvas material. Was wondering if this was an old helipad site? Looks like it could be a marking to be seen from above and was on a flattened spot just north of the summit on its ridge.
