Hasn't voted | Well, it's beautiful from a distance. The rock quality on Otertind is middle to bad in quality. For beauty and rock quality, you have to go to Stetind. | | Posted Jan 28, 2008 9:03 am |

Voted 10/10 | are those summits Darin? Looks beautiful that mountain does. Any good climbing guidebooks on the range/area you'd recommend? thanks!

Hasn't voted | There's a new guidebook to a nearby area called Kvaløya that's really nice granite. Otertind is crap. There was a HUGE rockfall that took out a couple farms and a few sheep (no people) at the base last spring, but some tech routes do exist. As I've heard it, some bands of rock are excellent, but you have to survive the rotten bands inbetween. I'll send you a link for the Kvaløya guidebook. Still no Lyngen guidebook that I've heard about. | | Posted Nov 4, 2008 2:11 am |
