Liberty Crack

Liberty Crack

Belaying atop P6 of Liberty Crack while sitting atop the Rotten Block, a 12-foot feature that mysteriously stays (for the time being) attached to the dihedral. Hope it doesn't go on your shift! View down (July 2007).

1 vote for a hanging belay above the block

That looks terrifying! Would rather be the belayer than the follower below, I suppose... Looks like some more great climbing, Radek. Might try to make it up to those parts this summer. Hope you're doing well.

Re: 1 vote for a hanging belay above the block

Hi Dirk,

the old geologic time scales vs. climbing time sort of odds I guess :)
For what it's worth, it sounded/felt solid. You'd like WA Pass area - can knock off a lot of climbing on even a short trip there (short approaches). Same ol' with us. Hope you've been getting outside! Cheers!!
