The Grand
Seth leading the V-Pitch on the Upper Exum. One of my favorite pitches on the whole route.

The SOB got it on the rotation but I got the Friction pitch! wohoo

I read that at one point up the Grand Teton there is a gap you must jump across. How wide is that gap?

On the upper Exum route, I assume you are talking about the top of wall street. It really is more like a stretched step. I don't know if I would like to jump it! especially with that exposure.

its an nervy move but easy. Mark Newcomb of Exum Guides says to go low, find a shallow hand hold hand travers style then step accross to the black rock called the "hockey puck." One exposed move, then its on to the Golden Face.
