A pleasant surprise awaits a casual visitor to the summit of Maclure. A singular burst of color, so intense, I could not turn away, as if hypnotized by this "Glacier Eye".

It was a strange crevasse. It's more like a berg that suddenly turned sideways and ran across the glacier. It was the first time I saw something like that.
I really liked your forum topic on California glaciers. Would you consider putting an album together on that subject? I would happily contribute my photos.
