Brown Mountain [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Brown Mountain
Seen from near Greybull Pass as a thunderstorm moves in. The prominent pointed summit is not the actual highpoint, but surmounting it is the hardest part of the climb (a Class 3 section, but it can be bypassed). The true summit is the knob seen to the right of and behind the seeming highpoint. It is, though, an easy walk of 5-10 minutes from the false summit, and the elevation gain is about 80'.

"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."   --Ernest Hemingway
