Hasn't voted | Yep, not the best, especially since the pitch is mostly overhanging - I recall hoping my partner wouldn't fall below... :) It was extra spooky because I was standing on a huge detached pillar/block with wind whipping out of the hand sized crack that I had just climbed - never witnessed this before. Good memories though...
As far as old pins go though, they seemed pretty solid. We definitely have a lot of fixed crap in the rockies, some of it you can pull out by hand - esp. on the less popular or alpine routes.. with the compact rock and no place for natural gear it is probably good to carry pins and a hammer..
