From the summit of Hoher Trieb / Cuestalta we have an interesting view on the highest group of Carnic Alps. In the centre we see the broad massif of Hohe Warte / Monte Coglians, rising above Ploecken Pass / Passo di M. Croce. On the left is the sharp Creta di Timau, from here far from being seen as a broad rocky mountain, such as it looks from the south. In front, on the right is Blaustein / Cima Avostanis.
