Hasn't voted | Thanks! The rock is sandstone of the Fountain formation. The rocks of that formation found around Boulder--Flatirons and Eldo--are "fortified" by a hard potassium feldspar. The color is partly due to Hematite. | | Posted Jul 18, 2007 5:32 pm |
