Ayo is in the Valley of the Volcanoes and Huambo is just past Cabanaconde in Colca Canyon. They have tried 3 routes and the road keeps getting destroyed by rockslides. The Colca Canyon is on the other side of this mountain. I'm trying to figure out what they plan on doing when they reach the solid almost vertical rock - someone mentioned a tunel.
