SPer crzyjt about to descend across the bergschrund on the Old Chute route of Mt. Hood. Literally 5 seconds after this photo was taken, his right crampon managed to slip off his boot and fall into the crevasse. One day in the far, far future, a human will find the crampon at the base of Mt Hood following a glacial retreat and wonder, "How the hell did this get here?" Taken July 10, 2007 after we summited.
